Example of Periodic Current Change Input of Constant-current Power Supply

Summary

The following is an example of table input of periodic current changes of a constant-current power supply.

Explanation

The model is the one used in "Improvement of Power Supply Input Method" (improvement of EMSolution r9.8.2). If the current variation shown in Fig. 1 is input, the voltage variation shown in Fig. 2 will be output. In this case, eddy currents are not included, so the voltage will also be periodic.

How to use

Table 1 shows an example of time variation table input for a constant-current power supply with a cycle of 0.2 seconds. Data for time 0 and CYCLE must be entered. In the case of current input, the time should be in ascending order, and do not input data for the same time. If the same time is input, a zero division may occur.
