Consideration of analysis methods

Several analysis methods have been proposed for electromagnetic field analysis, and EMSolution uses the finite element method.

 

The question is, "Why the finite element method?" But this is too general a topic to discuss here. However, it is a very general question, so I will omit it. We believe that these are the reasons why the finite element method is often used.
    • The finite element method is very versatile.
    • Ease of formulation (derivatives are much easier than inte-grals)
    • Handles sparse matrices and can withstand large-scale calculations with low computational speed and small capacity.
